Ill-Health
There are no provisions as such for Ill-Health/Disability Retirement under the Scheme. However, upon receipt of evidence from a registered medical practitioner that you are (and will continue to be) incapable of carrying on your occupation because of physical or mental impairment, the Trustees may use their discretion to allow you to take retirement before age 55, with the value of your DC Account at the time being used to secure an annuity.
